Techni-Met Gains Two Product Marketing Managers To Its Staff

Gerry Bergeron and Jonathan Wilson have joined Techni-Met, a division of Williams Advanced Materials based in Windsor, CT as Product Marketing Managers. Techni-Met is a global leader in roll-to-roll precision sputtered films on web substrates for technical applications such as medical instrumentation and thin film photovoltaics.

Gerry Bergeron joins Techni-Met bringing over 25 years of technical and marketing experience in the general vacuum, thin films, semiconductor, and solar PV areas. Previously, Gerry was the Product and Business Development Manager for Edwards Vacuum responsible for promoting dry vacuum pumps into North American semiconductor and solar markets. He has also held roles at Ferrofluidics, Barr Associates and Balzers with thin film, optics and general vacuum focus. Gerry holds degrees in Electrical Engineering from UMass/Lowell and an MBA from New Hampshire College.

Jonathan Wilson comes to Techni-met with over 20 years of technical sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and medical industries. Previously Jonathan was with Schering Plough and was responsible for two new product launches in the cardiovascular market . One medication earned over a billion dollars in its first year of launch. Jonathan has also held position with Merck, Novartis, and Forest Pharmaceuticals. Jonathan earned a BA in International Business Management from Utica College of Syracuse University, and a LLM in International Law and International Relations from Lancaster University in the UK.
