Toray Plastics Names Gianfranco Chicarella As Product Manager, Torayfan® Division

Toray Plastics (America), Inc., the only United States manufacturer of precision-performance polyester and polypropylene films, is pleased to announce that Gianfranco Chicarella has been named Product Manager, Torayfan® Division. Prior to the appointment, Chicarella was a New Product Development Group Leader. In his new role Chicarella is responsible for sales and marketing for new and existing product development, as well as product line support. Chicarella joined Toray in 2000 after earning a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Rhode Island. His initial experience with the company was as a college intern. During his tenure Chicarella also served Toray as a process engineer and a technical-service engineer. The Torayfan Division is responsible for the research, development, and manufacture of technologically advanced value-added polypropylene films used for packaging applications.
