Manufacturing And Engineering Veteran Rod Drummond Named New President & CEO Of Aspect Automation

Aspect Automation, a leader in automation equipment and custom engineering and manufacturing, announced today that Rod W. Drummond has joined the company as President and CEO. Drummond joins Aspect after successfully serving as President, COO or CEO of four different companies with manufacturing and engineering operations. Drummond has specific experience with custom capital equipment companies utilizing business models similar to Aspect's.

"I am very excited about joining Aspect, whose reputation for custom solutions is well respected in the industry," said Drummond. "I look forward to leading the Aspect team by building upon their recent success of expanded services and strategic relationships. Most recently, Drummond was President and CEO of The Hudson-Sharp Machine Company of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Hudson-Sharp produces bag and pouch machinery and utilizes web handling technology similar to Aspect Automation. Previous companies include Valenite, LLC, Ingersoll International, Ingersoll Cutting Tool Company and Ingersoll Milling Machine Company. The Ingersoll divisions were suppliers to Remmele Engineering, formerly the parent company of Aspect Automation.

Drummond has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and brings significant international business, strategy development, and business development experience to Aspect.
