Effective in March, 2003, CEMA became an operating division of AIMCAL, the Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators. Information on AIMCAL membership can be found at www.aimcal.org. CEMA's mission and goals are focused on serving the needs of the converting equipment manufacturers. Membership in CEMA is realized through AIMCAL membership. OEM converting equipment manufacturers receive voting memberships in both organizations, for the cost of their AIMCAL membership
Q. What is available at the CEMA meetings?
CEMA meetings provide an effective opportunity to network with other individuals in the converting industry. Every meeting includes guest speakers and presentations that provide valuable information; including safety issues, current technologies and manufacturing issues that are important to your customers.
Q. What are the benefits in joining your organization?
All OEM equipment manufacturers, who are AIMCAL members, have dual voting memberships in both AIMCAL and CEMA. In essence, when you join AIMCAL, you join two organizations serving the converting industry.
The CEMA organization benefits its members by providing an excellent forum for the exchange of ideas on issues that are important to converting equipment manufacturers. Membership offers an opportunity to advance the use of converting equipment as well as to lobby on behalf of the industry concerning legislation and regulations that may have impact on the industry.

Q. What does it cost to join?
AIMCAL membership is on a company basis and is $1995 annually. A premium membership is also available for those seeking additional marketing opportunities for $2495. Trade press can receive a premium membership for $850. Universities can join at no charge.
